How to activate your eSIM
Pick whichever suits you — the app is easiest
1 · QR code
You instantly get an email with a QR code and all activation details.
On your phone → Network / Cellular → Add eSIM → scan the QR code.
Follow the steps until the new line is added.
2 · Manual install (no scan) — iPhone
Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code → Enter Details Manually. Paste the SM-DP+ address and the activation code, leave “Confirmation code” empty, then tap Next and confirm.
Enter the “SM-DP+ Address” and “Activation Code” in the two separate fields.
3 · Manual install (no scan) — Android
Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs → Add eSIM → “Need help?” → Enter it manually, then paste the full LPA code (starts with LPA:1$). On Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM.
Paste the “Full code” LPA:1$… into the single field.
4 · After install — important steps
Wait up to 5 minutes after installing for the eSIM to activate on the network.
Turn on Data Roaming for the new line — required for internet abroad.
Set the new line as your default data line in network settings.
No internet yet? Toggle Airplane mode for 10 seconds, or restart the phone.
Validity starts on first network connection at your destination — it connects to 5G automatically.
Important — one-time install
Installs ONCE only — if the install fails, the internet drops mid-install, or you delete the eSIM, it cannot be installed again.
An eSIM installs on ONE device, ONCE. If it is deleted after installing, or the plan was consumed, it cannot be restored and is non-refundable. If the eSIM never worked due to a fault on our side, contact support@esim79.com — we will replace it or refund you.
